Northumberland

Northumberland's long coast was threatened from Nazi Occupied Scandinavia particularly Norway. German invasion plans included a fake invasion convoy from Norway to decoy Royal Navy ships from the main invasion in Southern England. The British fortified Northumberland accordingly particularly along the coast.
