These pictures show a very rare in situ Allan Williams turret situated on the south east rampart of North Weald Redoubt. The top hatch is in place, but the side hatch cover missing. Gun mountings, struts, pistol port covers are still present. The entrance passage cover is detached but lying nearby. TL 5061 0391
