British trench maps are quite common, but German ones are considerably rarer. This large format reproduction of an original 1917 German trench map covers entire Cambrai front from Queant in the north west to Cambrai in the north east and from Le Mesnil in the south west to Bantouzelle in the south east.
This large format book divides the map into 15 sections and includes all the key areas such as Inchy, Moeuvres, Bourlon, Fontaine Notre Dame, Graincourt, Flesquieres, Havrincourt, Marcoing, Ribecourt, Noyelles, Villers Plouich, Masnieres, La Vacquerie, Bonavis and Crevcoeur.
British trenches and positions are shown as well as German trenches. Other details are included such as barbed wire, light railways, gun emplacements and other associated positions. All maps reproduced in full colour. Click here for a preview.
